I’m very thankful that, even though this was 100% weather-related, the United rep took pity on me and gave me a bunch of food vouchers. She couldn’t swing a hotel but I would’ve onl y been there for 5 hours so it’s fine. I was sooooooo close to making my last  flight.

I think that when the owners of this platform made it clear that they were considering making everything vanish, some people felt less motivated to contribute here. Why do a write up of your latest project here if it might be gone tomorrow? And sure, they seemed to backtrack and it appears that we've been granted a stay of execution. But you can't put the toothpaste back in the tube.

Sorry for that. We’ve decided that wife will take a 1 or 2 year break so we can have another baby, so my car budget will be about non-existant in 2020.

My plan of going to US, buying a car, drive/tow it to the port, and meet it in a UK port will have to wait for longer.
